We are so lucky to have Gabrielle Euphoria visiting this land and sharing her music and loving presence.
We meet to join with her in song and to share songs, space, and intention as a community.
This gathering is a fundraiser. A third will go to support work being done by Achuar man Paco Yunkar to maintain clean water access for indigenous communities in the Amazon - particularly a community recently affected by a river oil spill.
We will also give a third of donations towards Gabrielle’s recording project for the the flourishing of her music.
And finally a third will go towards covering event costs and to support the Buen Canto fund.
Thank you!
Gabrielle Euphoria
Gabrielle Euphoria is an Australian singer-songwriter whose music is rooted in presence, devotion, nature and the heart. Her songs have grown through years of ceremony, women’s gatherings and song circles, with some travelling from voice to voice into circles around the world.
With a deep relationship to music as medicine, Gabrielle creates songs that invite us back into connection – with ourselves, each other and the more than human world.
Paco Yunkar’s Work
Paco Yunkar is an Achuar man working diligently to protect the waters of the Amazon and the indigenous communities that need them for daily life.
He works with support to build houses for orphaned children, implement water systems, plant trees for reforestation and provide aid to Achuar children.
At this time he asks for these donations to go towards reforestation.
We are on Bundjalung country
Deep respect to the Widjabul Wia-bal country and Bundjalung nation. We offer acknowledgment and pay respect to the elders of this country - past, present and emerging.
This gathering is offered with intention for the health of this country; for its original songs and dances to flourish; for its native people and life to be in a good way; and for richer intercultural sharing and support to grow here.
Our Host: Maintaining Eden
